hello

Come browse. We have over 10,000 square feet of 20th Century antiques, vintage furniture, one-of-a-kind art, unique decorative accessories and a few strange curiosities waiting just for you. Whether you are searching for that rare addition to your collection or just exploring, Highland Row has something for everyone.

Owner Angela Carbon Baker opened Highland Row on June 1, 2004 with two dealers, a handful of costume jewelry and a room full of traditional antiques.  Today, we have over 25 dealers who are constantly on the prowl for vintage modern furniture, art, lighting, decorative accessories, fashion and more.

Our shop is known for carrying everything from high-end furniture to hard-to-find and unusual junk! Our dealers have truly eclectic taste and interests — or, as we say, they find “truly great shit!” First-time visitors to the shop are often misled by the small store front at street level. They enter, walk around upstairs and think this is cool. But, then they are amazed when they see the stairs and find out about the 9,000 square feet of hidden mid-century treasures in the basement.

Please take a look at our Customer Gallery + Inspiration to see how some of those HR treasures are displayed in our customers’ homes. We invite you to Tour The Shop online, Meet Our Dealers or Ask Our Dealers a question.

Highland Row is truly a community of dealers and customers, and we are always excited to add someone to our family. The Highland Row family welcomes you and hope you will join us in the future!

Furniture > We live for Pearsall, Eames, Kagan, Saarinen, Knoll and Nelson. Thrill to anything Swedish or Danish. Swoon to Italian. Teak, walnut, marble, lucite? Oh yeah. Hairpin legs, waterfall edges, boxy modern? Yes please. From seating to tables to casegoods, we bring you the Mid-Century Modern you love. Whether it’s Brutalist, modernist, Hollywood Regency, campaign or kitsch, you’ll find it at HR.

Decorative Accessories > The right objects make a room. A pop of color in the form of a floor vase or art glass ashtray might be just the thing that sets off your collection. Need more heavy metal? We have your brass and chrome. Mirrors are an essential that Highland Row always has in stock — from mantle-sized to vanity-appropriate. Craving weird? How about a skeletal model or asylum signage? We do weird extremely well.

Lighting > Murano, Sonneman, Rembrandt, Frederick Cooper, Chapman and more have found their way to Highland Row. We search for the big names and the unknown as long as the look is hot. Chandeliers, pendants, table, task and tv lamps? Yes to all. If you’re into silhouette and materials, we've got you covered with gourds, columns, and abstract shapes in brass, chrome, ceramic and lucite.

Art > If eclectic is your thing, you’ll love our walls. Abstract oils, vintage portraits, folk art, paint-by-numbers are just the beginning. We offer metal wall pieces, statuary, garden art too. From nudes to landscapes and maquettes to sculpture, we search it out and stock it at HR. Art is personal and we don't judge. You like creepy? Yeah, we do too.

Kitchen + Serveware > Sometimes you need that one perfectly kitschy essential to make your kitchen complete. From Dansk to Pyrex, we’ve got it! If you’re into barware, teak serveware or ceramic dinnerware, we have vast collections for your browsing pleasure. And don’t even get us started on salt and pepper shakers…

Fashion > We love vintage clothing. Our dealers bring you racks and racks for your shopping pleasure. You’ll find designer names like Pucci, Beane, Saks right there with vintage tee shirts and well-worn Levi’s. Along with hats, shoes, and gobs of costume jewelry. Play dress-up or get seriously turned out at Highland Row.

What else? > Vintage textiles, old tools, found objects. Albums, books, militaria and ephemera. Basically, if it’s cool, you’ll find it at Highland Row.

angela carbon baker

Owner Angela Baker knows that Highland Row is unique among Atlanta’s antiques scene. The merch is mainly Mid-Century Modern with a healthy dash of funky and weird. And Angela works hard to keep the shop — and your shopping experience — fun!  After 11 years as owner of Highland Row, Angela knows HR is as much a community as it is a shopping venue. Which makes it pretty special.

Besides being an expert in vintage / modern antiques, Angela is a magnet for unique and eclectic dealers. The vendors at Highland Row have been hand-selected and she considers herself lucky to call them her friends and family.

If you ever have a question, request, or concern, Angela wants to hear it. Call her at 404 815 8830, shoot her an email, or fill out the quick form on our Location + Contact page.
